Keep the selected identity

Save supplier, SKU, selected grade or color, selling unit, declared width, length basis, tolerance and order date before the parcel arrives. For PRK24-30, the 1200 ft 30#selection belongs with the $39 observation; for GreenWrap, the Kraft case and 750 expanded-foot statement belong with GWExBoxBW.

Record the actual fields

On receipt, compare the actual labels and included unit count with that record. A catalog family name alone can hide a different grade or case presentation. If measuring a field privately, label it as your own measurement and retain the method. Do not call a shipping carton dimension the paper usable width or assume a family unit weight is net paper mass.

Handle a discrepancy specifically

If something differs, preserve the order information and ask the supplier about the exact discrepancy. A useful inquiry identifies the selected SKU, the expected field, the received label and date. We have not verified a particular remedy or short-roll claim policy and do not promise a replacement from a calculator result.

Do not turn receiving into certification

This workflow is not a real delivery review or a protection certification. We have not received, weighed, unrolled or tested the compared products. A generic image of a carton and blank invoice is an illustration. Receiving checks can document identity and condition without supplying a drop, compression or damage-rate result.

Check the child SKU

A roll labeled PRK24-40 would not match an order for PRK24-30 even though both belong to the same parent page. Keep grade and declared length in the receiving record. A family-level product photo or base price cannot establish that the correct selected variant arrived.

Keep a measured field labeled

If you privately measure width or remaining length, record the method and date and distinguish it from the supplier declaration. A single measurement does not establish every future roll or a universal tolerance. This site has not performed those measurements and does not present the receiving workflow as a laboratory inspection protocol.

Do not ignore the declared tolerance

A nominal 360 ft indented roll has a published plus-or-minus 30 ft condition in this research. A discrepancy question should retain that condition and the actual selected order commitment. We do not declare a breach or promise a remedy based only on comparison with the nominal title.

Condition and identity are separate

An invoice can name the correct unit count while an individual received item still raises a condition question. Document the actual issue and ask the seller. No unboxing result, damage rate or repair method is claimed here, and a generic delivery-carton photograph is not evidence of a defect in a named product.

Update stock only after the relevant check

Record the selected material, basis and known usable amount before including it in a production plan. Keep unknown remaining length outside a guaranteed total where appropriate. The site does not silently upgrade an unmeasured delivered roll into an exact measured 1200 ft or a verified protection-approved material.

Map the delivery to the selected order

Retain the order-line selectedSKU,grade or color, unit count, declared length basis and any tolerance. Match the received identifier to that line before updating stock. If a label uses another code, ask the supplier about the mapping rather than assuming every similar kraft roll is the same selected material.
